i've done my best to get everything in order, all my ducks in a row. incessant planning, spanish cramming, voracious guidebook reading, questions and more questions. My hope is that this will help align things, smooth out some bumps, allow at least the beginning of my journey to start out on the right foot.
however, these are just the first of many little steps and i know the very center of this journey involves confusion, missteps, adventures and experiences i don't even know exist right now.
throughout it all, though, it will be my goal to keep going. keep taking those progressively more sure little advances in the hope that at the end...
...one goes far.
thanks for your interest and support of me and this current adventure. i'll do my best to chronicle as many steps and missteps as i can here so that i can humor, inspire, or just ensure you of my well-being in a foreign land. here's to what life has in store for me in guate-bueno!
